$1,000 Stimulus Payment Set for Thousands of Alaskans on November 20, 2025

Thousands of people in Alaska are getting ready to receive a $1,000 economic assistance payment on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

This payment comes from Alaska’s annual Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) program, which aims to help residents financially each year.

Make Sure Your Information Is Up-To-Date

If you haven’t received your payment yet, or want to make sure everything is in order, you should check your application status using the "myPFD" platform.

It’s important to update your contact and banking information. If you have changed your address or your payment method, report it as soon as possible using the online forms provided by the program.

Special Measures Due to Typhoon Halong

This year, payments are especially important because Typhoon Halong caused serious flooding in several Alaska communities, forcing many residents to leave their homes. To help those affected:

  • For Residents Displaced by Flooding: If you are temporarily living in Anchorage shelters, you can get your mail—including your payment check—at the Egan Center Mail Unit (555 West 5th Avenue).
  • Redirecting Payments: Displaced residents should contact the PFD Division by emailing dor.pfd.payments@alaska.gov to get help with redirecting checks to a safe location.

When Are Payments Going Out?

There are three payment dates for eligible residents:

  • November 20, 2025: For applications with "Eligible-Unpaid" status as of November 12, 2025
  • December 18, 2025: For applications with "Eligible-Unpaid" status as of December 10, 2025
  • January 15, 2026: For applications with "Eligible-Unpaid" status as of January 7, 2026

Who Qualifies for the $1,000 Payment?

To qualify for Alaska’s 2025 PFD payment, you must:

  • Have been an Alaska resident for all of 2024
  • Plan to keep living in Alaska on the day you apply
  • Not have been outside Alaska for more than 180 days during 2024, unless it was an approved absence
  • Not have been convicted or imprisoned for a serious crime
