Time is running out for Alaska residents who want to receive the 2026 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) check. Officials are reminding everyone that the deadline to apply is almost here, so it's important to submit your application soon.
Key Deadlines to Remember
Online Applications:
You can apply online until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.
Mail-In Applications:
If you're mailing your application, make sure the envelope is stamped by the post office or has a certified mail receipt dated no later than March 31.
In-Person Applications:
If you want to drop off your application in person, the offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau will accept forms until 4:00 p.m. on March 31.
What If You're Missing Documents?
Don't worry if you don't have all your paperwork ready. The most important thing is to submit your main application before the deadline. You can send any extra documents later.
When Will Payments Be Sent?
The Department of Revenue has announced the following payment dates for people whose applications are marked as "Eligible-Unpaid":
- March 19 – For those eligible as of March 11
- April 16 – For those eligible as of April 8
- May 21 – For those eligible as of May 13
Important Tip
Keep a copy of your application or save your confirmation number for each family member who applies. Any application received after the March 31 deadline will be automatically rejected.
